Also, I just finished polishing up my mobile website so that people who access my website on their smartphones wont be greeted with some generic page that has nothing to do with me. I tried to put as much information on it so that it would be a comparable experience as if you visited my site on a computer.

So this month has kept me pretty busy biking and hiking all around town.
 

The first exciting news is I booked a stand in gig for House of Lies as Don Cheadle's stand in for a couple days. I also got to meet his official stand-in for the show and had a good chat with him about working as a stand-in (he also worked as Wesley Snipes' stand-in which isn't a surpise, lol). I also got to meet Ben Schwartz and eat lunch a table away from Kristen Bell which was definitely a memorable moment.
 

I had a lot of fun and got to be on my first Hollywood studio set and met some great actors who dropped some information about agent/manager showcases around town like Actor's West and The Actors Company. Which brings me to some of the biggest news!

Had a full day - In addition to having my first members meeting at The Group Rep (and finding out that Sean Penn did  an apprenticship there back in the day!), I went to an introductory class at the Annie Grindlay Studio where I met Annie and Saxon Trainor. I connected with Annie's philosophy on auditioning and with her approach to breaking down scenes so I signed up for her one month intensive in October!
 

This should be another solid piece in my film acting training here in LA and this is a class I really anticipating will push me to a new level.
 

She warned me before I signed up that "It's going to be a challange" but I welcome it.

I recently auditioned to become a new member of The Group Repertory Theatre in North Hollywood and this morning I was called and notified that I was being offered a place among their ranks!

My first successful audition in LA and it's a big one! I can't wait to start working with this very exciting and active company.
